Membership Eligibility
Securityplus membership is open to:
- Anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Baltimore City
- Family members or household members of an existing credit union member
- Individuals who are employed or retired from one of our Select Employer Groups
- Any consumer who may be eligible to join the credit union through the American Consumer Council (ACC)

The American Consumer Council
The American Consumer Council (ACC) is a non-profit membership organization with more than 228,000 members throughout the United States. Its mission is to educate consumers on the purchase of safe, reliable products and services, advocate for consumer rights, provide financial education, and recognize companies for their environmental stewardship and corporate social responsibility.
By joining the ACC, you become eligible to join Securityplus Federal Credit Union and there are no ACC membership fees or dues when you also become a credit union member. To join both, please visit a Securityplus branch location. To contact the American Consumer Council, call 1-800-544-0414.
